American Eagle music

This may sound stupid.. but I work at American Eagle.. and we don't have TVs in our particular store.. so I can't see what the names of songs are.. I have looked through and checked all of the songs listed in this forum, but I haven't found the song I am looking for.. I don't know lyrics!!! The song in the beginning has some electric guitar.. and then there is a part of ths song that has no singing but what sounds to me like violin? Maybe some of the lyrics are "Take a _______ ______ ...." See? I don't know anything about the song but it is in my head!! Grrrrrrr!! Can some one help me out? THANX!

i was in there about 1 month ago and heard a song. it goes "....kill the town.....put the fire out" any ideas?

If you go to an American Eagle you can ask if they have a copy of the playlist or they may offer to go make you a copy for a small price (like 50 cents) at least that's what we'll do where I work. When I first read this thread I thought y'all were crazy to want these songs because listening to the same 5 hour track for 40 hours a week is nauseating but then again they are good songs in moderation. Hope that suggestion helps!

aite heres the toughest one to find guys and imma need ur help... i work at AE and i listen to the thing all the time but the song im trying to find doesnt play a video... its just a clip... all i know is they sound like Oasis and something like "i wake up.... something something... so whats in your dowry today?" and i hear em again when their advertising the cd at the end... something about being a star... iono ill check again

I work there.. and I've seen the playlist.. but the songs aren't numbered and I can't really make out any of the words in the song.. so if anyone knows the song that has violins and sounds like they're saying something about "Take a shower.." or "Take a shot.." ... post it.. I am going crazy.. and whenever it comes on in my store, I ask all of my co-workers if they know the name of the song, and they say they don't.

ya i heard that song too and i liked it. it's called "exit, emergency" and it's by houston calls.

He has a fairly high-pitched voice, and its got this strange style to it.

ive been working at AE since the summer, but i heard this one song in the loop with a music vid where its all black & white. Its like in a room and the guys are going crazy, but i cant figure out who its by or what its called

Okay guys, i'm havin some troubles. I was in AE this december just before Christmas and i heard this song i really liked. I dont remember the name of the song or the Artist, but the music video had two caterpillars in it and they were all in love and stuff. Okay so I was in AE the other day and just browsin' around and I heard this really great song but now most of the lyrics have left my mind but I just know that I love it. It goes something like "we could get out of here" or "take me out of this place".....something about getting out or away, lol I looked at previous posts and thought it might be the Relient K song "Be my Escape" but that's not it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

That song is "Follow Through" by Gavin Degraw.

I also work at AE and I've been wondering what song this is: "I will show you the country and all it's secrets" It has a girl and a guy singing (the girl's voice is annoying according to my co-workers lol) and at the end of the song the girl keep saying "woooooooooah wooooooooah woah woah woah" etc. etc. for a while.

I work at the AE in N. Charleston, SC. My manager was cleaning out the DVD area and sadly, our store is older so we have no video. I have no idea who sings the songs. I did grab the play list for the recent set though. If you guys have any questions, I'll see if I can help.

Everyone else that works at AE, anyone else think this particular CD is rather shitty?

i work at the ae in columbus, oh and yes, the spring cd is horrible. but, there is still a song stuck in my head, and i can't figure out what it is! it goes something along the lines of, "oh sailor man, why'd you do it?" and it has a sarah mclachlan-type of song. anybody know who/what it is!?
