    Default Help me!

    Hey ya'll,
Okay so I was in AE the other day and just browsin' around and I heard this really great song but now most of the lyrics have left my mind but I just know that I love it. It goes something like "we could get out of here" or "take me out of this place".....something about getting out or away, lol I looked at previous posts and thought it might be the Relient K song "Be my Escape" but that's not it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

That song is "Follow Through" by Gavin Degraw.

I also work at AE and I've been wondering what song this is: "I will show you the country and all it's secrets" It has a girl and a guy singing (the girl's voice is annoying according to my co-workers lol) and at the end of the song the girl keep saying "woooooooooah wooooooooah woah woah woah" etc. etc. for a while.

    Default Hey now

I work at the AE in N. Charleston, SC. My manager was cleaning out the DVD area and sadly, our store is older so we have no video. I have no idea who sings the songs. I did grab the play list for the recent set though. If you guys have any questions, I'll see if I can help.

Chloe- That's "These Lights" by Forecast

EDIT: And yes, her voice is annoying. Very.

I don't think its that bad! we've definitely had worse! but maybe I just like it because "Soul Meets Body" was my favourite song before we got this CD in and it just makes the CD that much better.

Ok same story here...in AE on Thursday last week and heard a song and saw the video playing on the flatscreen. I have the tune in my head but that is about as useful as a poopy flavored lollypop on here. In the video I think I remember the band playing near a pool at some point and it was def up beat alternative/punkrock - ish. The guy singing had a fairly high pitched voice. I did see one other song posted mentioning the voice and I downloaded that song and it wasnt it. Any help would be SWEET. Thanks,

    Blue

Can anyone tell me if Death Cab for Cutie ever appeared on an AE tracklist before "Soul Meets Body"? I worked at AE from the Holiday season of '04 through half of March, and during that time I heard a song that seemed to sound like it could be a Death Cab for Cutie song. I believe it was on the same disc that "They" by Jem was on. I know no lyrics or titles though, and it's been driving me crazy forever. I've also heard it on MTV and VH1 as background music for some TV shows. Any input at all would be HUGELY appreciated.

First answer is probably "Bestill My Heart" and that's Postal Service, also led by Ben Gibbard (lead singer for Death Cab).

The second answer is probably... not sure. I'll try to remember to check it out when I work this morning.

Wait, it could be Sound of Settling, or Glove Compartment. Also may be Sound of Settling. All those are Death Cab. Check any of those.

Hell, just download all Death Cab and Postal Service. Do yourself the favor.
