the new dvd is now being played!! (or at least in my store.. technically we're not supposed to start playing it until tuesday, but we were getting so sick of hearing the other one that we started playing the new one)

actually the song is the adventure by angels & airwaves.. if you think it's blink 182 (which is what i thought when i first heard it) is because tom delonge (singer from b182) is in the band. it's a great song!

i work at 874 in ames, iowa. our floorset was from 9 pm sat - 12 pm sunday (and it's still not entirely done.. for the most part it is, but there's still some stuff missing here and there)

the new dvd is eh.. there's lots of repeats on it, and some past songs from older dvd's (that stupid bounce bounce song from last spring/summer :-p).. there's some good songs though.. my favorites are the adventure by angels & airwaves, sos by rihanna, the school of rock song, the rules by ben kweller, goodnight & go by imogen heap, and ch-ch-check it out by the beastie boys.

woo, i work at ae and just did the floorset last night..i saw that someone said the store is being flip flopped? ours wasn't flipped, but already is. like people walk in and go to the wrong side and are like whoa because it's different than most ae stores. but anyways..i never get a chance to see who these songs are by because i'm usually doing pe so i can't see the dang tv! i know all the words, but don't know who they're by so this thread is awesome even though some people are totally clueless as to what song they're asking about..haha. thank god we're getting to play the new cd tomorrow..i'm excited and if i heard about shakira and her truthful hips one more time in that store i would of smacked someone!

oh, another way annoying song on this new one is just the girl by click 5.. the first time we played the new one was actually at our back to school meeting and when it came on everyone was like 'oh. my. god. PUH-lease don't tell me we have to listen to this again.' :-p

we flipped our store because we have more bays on the guys side.. i'm slowly getting used to it, but it still is weird :-p

My heart cried... a lot, but there's this very Coldplayish song they added that I liked.

Hello I need help. I also work at American Eagle but I never get a chance to look at the names of the videos and artists.
I know not too long ago the first song that would come on when we started the DVD would start like "Uh-huh yeah uh-huh yeah" then it would get into pretty little singing and what not. The video had 4 men's heads surrounded by butterflies. If you know what i am talking about thanks lol.

Then there is another that is more recent. The video is of just an asian girl lip singing to some guys voice. The words I remember are
"mommas in the kitchen with (something) poppas in the back with old hank...?"
I am sure that is nowhere near close but thats what I always thought it said lol. like i said this one is just a video of an asian girl in like her bikini standing around lip singing.

i was in AE yesterday and i heard the zong by an artist whose name statred with a A and he sang a song called Ziggy hit me up with that artist if u find it

i was looking at our new bts cd and i noticed one of the song was by aband called jack's aquarium or called something with aquarium...but i searched for it on itunes and other sources, and nothing comes up. it's got kind of a rockish sound. anybody know what i'm talking about??

heyyyy i just found this site and it's amazing! i work at AE in northern VA and i was just wondering if anyone else that works at AE or if anyone knows some of the new songs on the new DVD. PS: i'm really thrilled not to hear that "i'm standing in the way of control" song. it drove me MAD. anyways, just wondering! also, we have this commercial for AMC theatres because we're giving free passes to AMC theatres for trying on denim and i was wondering the song that plays on that commerical cuz i really like it, it sounds like it would be a good song..but the only lyrics i remember are something like "falls down my forehead" and maybe something about highway and cars driving towards you or something...for some reason i can never remember it's only like a 30 second clip anyways...but okay i'm done! peace out kids! help is mucho appreciated!

Yeah that "standing in the way of control" song is pretty horrible. We usually skip it at my store.
