American Eagle music

Okay, so there was a thread about songs heard in American Eagle stores, and I've been going insane trying to track down playlists to find just one obscure song or two every couple months. So... forgive me if this sounds crazy, but for those of you who've worked there, could you please, please post a tracklist of the last three or four CDs you've had playing in store? I'd love you forever. Thanks!

Alright so I've only worked at AE for 3 months, and I can't remember all the songs but we've only had 2 CDs since I started working there, so these are the ones that have remained in my memory:

So I know that's a pretty limited list, but I'm going back to work tomorrow so I'll see if I can pay more attention to what's playing!

mmm not sure about that one, sorry. when did you hear it?? because we JUST got a new CD like this past weekend, so I don't know if I'll really be able to find it.

I was in American Eagle a few months ago and there was this song (music video) on their TV. I loved it then but unfortunetly I don't know enough to help me out in a search and find of it. Here is what I do know:

It is a group of girls and has a type of reggaeton sound

I believe their name to be the ____ Girls, I thought Brazil but I guess that is not right I dunno thats just something that I think I remember

Also their music video is in the jungle and all they are singing about is their p*ssies and coconuts (or so I think) I know its so weird, but I know they are a newer group becuase I even heard someone talking about them on the radio but I just can't seem to find any information anywhere! And I know they are not the P*ssycat Dolls or Rihanna, they kinda have the same sound. If anyone knows anything about it or could find out about it I would be sooo grateful!!

is it not M.I.A.? I don't recognize the lyrics, lol, but I'm pretty sure one of her music videos takes place in the jungle. How many months ago was this? Because I've only been working at AE since mid-August...

ok, yeah, I just reviewed the M.I.A. video for "Sunshowers", which is a song we had playing during the summer, and it does take place in a jungle and it's kinda reggae-ish, so try that one! it is one girl, not a group of girls, but there are a bunch of other girls and other people in the video with her, so...that might be it. let me know if it is or isn't

k, u guys let me know if you want me to keep posting the new songs we get at AE...we have a bunch of new ones and I'll keep doing it as long as somebody still wants...we really do have some pretty great music

i was just in AE today and heard a song that i really liked, it sounded like a very young female, kinda punkish in sound, right after the song, snow patrol - spitting games played, was wondering if anyone knows what that young female's song/band name is? wish i woulda listened to the lyrics a bit closer so that i coulda tossed them into google

I heard this song a few days ago in AE, for the most part it was a rap song with a sick guitar rif in the backround. Kinda like Dance-Rock/rap i guess. Also the chorus was not rap but rather almost feminine sounding. Not sure though. I could have sworn I had heard it before and I'm pretty sure its not new. Any help is appreciated cuz this has been racking my brain for awhile.

sorry I haven't checked this thread in a while. What you're thinking of is probably by Smoosh, because it is punkish and believe it or not its a group with two sistes aged 10 and 12 (why they sound so young!) and its called "la pump"

not sure about this one but I'm working again tomorrow so I'll see if I can pay closer...you say the chorus was feminine "sounding", but was it a male or female singer??

HEY people ive seen you guys know every song from american eagle stores but i have not seen the one im lookin for... ummm i guess u probly heard it and even saw it bcuz its from that ad with the black kid wearing the "im a keeper" t-shirt and the song starts when he imagines this gurl he met, i think it goes kinda like: "IM SO IN LOVE...." something something... i cant remember please let me kno cuz ive been dyin to kno what the song is thanx!!!!!!!

I went to AE today and saw a video with these 5 guys dressed in like 80s outfits/pimp suits singing emo music. I think I read the bottom of the screen and it said it was by the CHROMES and the song was called THE RAGE but i keep googling it and not finding anything. It came on almsot right after the Veronicas song. Whats the song really claled?

Ok, i work at AE but I can never seem to catch the name of this song! It has the words Black and white in it somewhere and in the video a bunch of vines are growing all over the place. I just can never seem to see the screen at the right time!

that was just a commercial, so it was just a clip of the song and the title/artist was never displayed on the screen, so i don't know...sorry

alright i know which one you're talking about, but when i search chrome i keep getting some old band from like the 90s...anyway, im working again tomorrow, so ill check...not sure if were still playing it because we just got a new xmas season CD in, but i'll let you know if i find anything out

There's this song I've heard at AE that I've been trying to find ever since. I've heard it twice but I can't remember anything about it, all I know is that it plays right before Rob Thomas "This is How a Heart Breaks", and the beginning is kind of rap sounding. If you guys could continue to post songs that would be awesome, thanks

i heard this song at american eagle today and on friday and its really been bugging me lol ok its a guy singing and its like rap and the only words i remember are something like "you've got to groove freeze stand still"
does anyone know the name of that song?? lol

there is a song i heard in AE a couple days ago and the lyrics went something like "i dont wanna be the only, one who is being lonely". it was a male singer and it was an upbeat song. any help?! thanks!
