hehe, Samiramis is by the Nile, it's far from me since I'm in Heliopolis which used to be considered a suburb of Cairo, but it's now in the middle of the metropolis, but it's close to downtown which is where you wanna be especially the Ma3adi and Muhandeseen districts, they have all the Cairo nightlife, it's a great hotel btw.
Btw, don't be shocked, Cairo is very crowded, it's estimated to house 21 million, also doesn't your trip include Sharm El-Sheikh? it is a MUST

its a short trip,dont know if ill make sharm now....but i have a few hotels in sharm where ill apply for executive training im meetin a saudi friend of mine in cairo,ill ask him about the districts...wanna come?
