Thanks for the response. I'm sorry I wasn't clearer. I'm looking for an English translation of the Arabic words, not a transliteration of the Arabic letters into English letters. I'm just starting to learn Arabic, and I can (barely) read enough to tell that the lyrics are on the CD booklet, but my Arabic grammar and vocabulary aren't good enough to understand what they mean. Thanks to both of you, Tahira and larosa, for the help on the lyrics. I would never have figured that out on my own! My dictionary lists "Tayib" as "kind" or "nice," but those lyrics don't sound like either the singer or the person he's singing to has been very "kind" or "nice" to each other. So is the idea that they were both being hurtful/cruel/unfaithful to each other? Regardless, it doesn't sound like there is a lot of love in this song!

you're absolutley right tourbeau your dictionnary is not lying to you,tayib means nice ,gentle nice but it also means ok in egyptian accent,when he says tayib tayib it's like he's threathing her like saying "wait till you see what i can do" and yet it's true there ,is no much love in this song he's being angry from his girl cause she betrayed him
