    Hi, it's me again
I'd like to ask If anyone would help me and translate for me 9 songs from Orit Maftsir's workshop CD? There are no singers names and titles of the songs, so I can't find lyrics in the internet to put it here. I can only send this songs...

I know that's a lot of work, but it's not in hurry...I just want to know what do I sing (pfonetic haha! ) when I listen to them .
I would be veeery greatful If someone could help me
    Cheers!

Track 17 (I don't know the singer or song title sorry, but I'll ask around) Most of the lyrics are repeated throughout the song so I put each new line as it appeared

Ana albi elaik mayal w mafish gheirak 3al bal
My heart toward you leaned and there is no other on my mind

    Inta w bas eli 7abibi
You and only you are my love

    Mahma y2oulu el 3ozal
    No matter what they say

    B7bak 2ad 3ainiya 7atta aktar mnha shwaya
I love you as much as my eyes(sight) even a little bit more

    W es2alha inta w 7alefhaha 3ala toul 7at2oulak hiyya
You can ask her and make her swear by God, right away she will say..

    Inta w bas eli 7abibi
You and only you are my love

Track 12 is Diana Hadad's song Mani Mani from her 2001 album "Gar7 el 7abib"
(so since I know the singer and song title I'll get back to it lol)

Track 11 is Mohamed Mounir's song Fe 3eshq El Banat from his album with the same title that came out in the year 2000 ( I have to see if someone else can get me these lyrics cuz I don't always understand him)

Track 10 is Hakim "Ya Hoo" from his 2000 album also titled "Ya Hoo"

ok so those I have up and if someone can search for the lyrics that would be great.. if not I'll see which ones I can do.. because I'm not too confident with Mohamed Mounir.. and Hakim is also a bit on the iffy side lol

I should ask Daydream if there's any Maroccan song - is there?
Because I don't see differences in dialects. I only know that Hakim is from Egypt
I was searching for lyrics but still don't have anything :/ I wish I could help you somehow...
Till tuesday I will be busy (school) so I may be absent somedays... But as soon as I find some lyrics, I'll put it here. Bye

oh hey Fierce I left some sing titles up there that we don't have lyrics to..

    Diana Haddad - Mani Mani

Mohamed Mounir - Fe 3eshq El Banat

    Hakim - Ya Hoo

So if you have the lyrics to that and/or can translate one of them that would be great

And as for the other songs there are still some 3/4 songs that I was unable to do and I didn't know who sang them so niskuk can send them to you.. if she's not online when you are I can also PM them to either you or Beso.. let me know.

btw here is another member who needs help for a song in the Morroccan dialect.. Maybe you can help them Click Here

Thenk you Beso! After reading the translation I realized how hard it had to be. I've found that many Arabic words have many meanings, and Mohamed Mounir is like a poet (so even harder)... "peppermint in the garden"...beautifull...
I just would like to ask, If someone had some free time, can you just retype his song into european letters... <embarrassement>

Fierce, If you like I can send you songs 2, 4 and 5.

Oh thank you all for help I don't know Arabic, but love your songs and music, also instrumental. Folklore with Arabic rhythms, darbukka and accordeon Fortunately there's nothing to translate but it's harder to dance for beginner, that's why I listen to so many shaabi songs
