Siham Shammas - Ghaba Naharoun Akhar [*]

Hi,

I've tried to translate the song ghaba naharoun akhar from the album el quds fi il bal but I guess I did many mistakes. I hope somebody can correct them

أنا و ظل الحور و الخريف
Ana wa zillou (?) al7aouri wa alkhareef
I and the shadow(?) of the aspen and the Autumn
OBS : I'm not sure she says zillou. When I listen to the song I hear something like aghla

و يبعد الرصيف يمعنوا في الفراغ و الغبار
Wa yab3oudou arraseef youm3inou fi alfaragh wa alghoubar
and the path that is moving away ?????????? in the the vacuum and the dust

ودعني طيرٌ و قال إلى بلادي أمضي
wadda3ni tayroun wa qal ila biladi amdi
A bird bade me farwell and told to my country : go on

It brought to my mind my land

و كبر السؤال و كبر السؤال
wa kaboura soual wa kaboura soual
And the question became more important

i mean was this done by Fairous or Siham

i think it's more correct to say:
Our absence had increased one more day but the day of our return became closer one more day

I and poplar shadow and the Autumn

و يبعد الرصيف يمعنُ في الفراغ و الغبار

and the path goes too far in the the vacuum and the dust

A bird bade me farwell and told to i'm going to my country... i think it'd be more correct like this becuse it says Amdi not emdi

or you can say
it reminded me with my land

And the question became more important

it's the first time i hear this one
from this tape or CD what ever i like most سنرجع يوما
wonderfull marvellous takes my mind

Hi Oriee alf shoukran ya ma3leem.

Siham is a very talented singer singer and has performed some plays written by the Rahbani brothers such as jisr el qamar and nas men warak. She has a wonderful voice but , unhappily, she is not a well known artist. I couldn't find out any album released by her and not even a single video. it's weird...........
maybe some friends from Lebanon can give us more information about her.
