    من تكون أنت تعذبني وأسامح؟؟
    Man tkon inta t3athibni wasami7
Who are you ? to crucify me then I should forgive ?

    من تكون أنت تخاصمني وأصالح
    Man tkon inta tkhasimni wasali7
Who are you ? to became angry from me then I should redeem

    أنت واحد بين الآلاف العيون
    Inta wa7id ben alaf el-3eon
You are an eye among 1000s of eyes

ليش أنا أرضى بعذابك من تكون؟؟
Lesh ana arda b 3adabak man tkon
Why I should accept your excruciation ,who are you?

يا اللي قلبك ما عرف طعم الهوى
    Yali galbak ma 3raf ta3m el-hawa
Your heart never did know the taste of love

ما هوى ولا حب يوم ولا إنكوى
Ma howa w la 7ab yom w inkawa
It never loved and never been cauterized

    هل حياتي عندك وموتي سوى؟؟
    Hal 7aeate 3indak w moti sowa
Is my life is the same as my death for you?

    من يحس بلوعتي ووجدي ودموعي
    Man y7iss bi lo3ati w wajdi w dmo3i
Who can feel my eagerness and tears

يدري حجم النار لي تسكن ضلوعي
    Yadri 7ajm el-nar le taskn dlou3i
He will know the size of the fire that involved my ribs

رغم هذا لك أنا ما أعلن خضوعي
Raghma hatha la kana ma a3ln khdou3i
Despite that ,I will not announce for you my yielding

    صامدِ في وجه رمشك والعيون
    Samd fi wajh rmshak wil-3eon
Im firm to your eye lashes and your eyes

من تكون أنت تحكم في مصيري؟؟
Man tkon inta t7akm fi maseri
Who are you to overrule my fate?

وليش أغير لأجل عينك خط سيري
W kesh aghaiyr lajl 3enak khat seri
And why I should change my propel line for your eyes?

    أخضع لأمرك عجب وأنت أسيري
Akhda3 le amrak 3ajab winta aseri
I submit to your matter ,and you are my captive

    تاركني بين أوهام وظنون
    Tarkni ben awham w thnon
You are leaving me among delusions and doubt

is it actually standard arabic or a dialect...and if it is so, how can I recognise this???

I thought the poem was originally written by Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum from Dubai, wasn't it?

    Thanks in advance

I guess I will post the original poem by Sheikh Maktoum (taken from his webpage...there is a translation as well)

I don't know if Nabati poetry is usually written in Gulf-Dialect...it schould be...but am not sure

Does Khaleeji Arabic share some similarities with Iraqi???

Thanks for your answer btw Oriee

    EDIT

sorry, while copying it was confused a little, so there are always two verses in one line...except the one that starts with "leesh" that is only one verse

Yes Jihan Nabati poetry is Gulf dialect, close to Bedouin (in fact Gulf dialect is very close to Bedouin as I mentioned)
