Default Mohammad Abdo - Hala bel6ayeb elghali

hello, i need some help translating this wonderful song (also sung by rahila http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7a_yK...eature=related)

i can understand many words but many are missing, which paints a very partial picture of the song.. i assume this a khaliji dialect, i am better at palestinian dialect.
i will only post what i think is quite accurate translation, not single words here and there...please help with the rest

هلا بالطيب الغالي ؛؛؛ عزيز وشوفتك منوه
now everything is perfect (feels good..)/ ....darling i see you (minewa??)
ترى ماجى على بالي ؛؛؛ اشوف اعيونك الحلوه
what suddenly popped into my head/ a desire to see your sweet eyes

هلا يا مطول الغيبه ؛؛؛ من اقليبي أهلي به
يطير الطير بالعالي ؛؛؛ ومرد القدره إتجيبه

رقص من شوفتك قلبي ؛؛؛ بصدفه ساقها ربي
my heart danced when i saw you/ by chance it drank from god's cup
بلى ميعاد يا حبي ؛؛؛ تلاقى قلبك وقلبي
certainly my love/ our hearts met

ومن شفتك تناظرني ؛؛؛ تغير كل ما فيني
when i layed my eyes on you/ you changed everything inside me
لا عاد اكثر تحيرني ؛؛؛ ترى ما فيني يكفيني
no more will you embarrass me/ what is in me will suffice me

صغير وخله يدلل ؛؛؛ احبه ولازم أتحمل
يقول أنه يخاصمني ؛؛؛ وينوي القول ولا يفعل

ولا يخفى عليك خافي ؛؛؛ احبك يا ذهب صافي
and i won't fear you/ i love you, golden pure
ولو تأمر على روحي ؛؛؛ ترى بحقك ما هو كافي
and don't tell me/ "in truth you are not enough"

as i said, it's a very partial understanding.
    thanks for help!

Here you go! I'm not that great with khaliji dialect either, but I tried my best to correct you and show you where you went wrong Well done!!

هلا بالطيب الغالي ؛؛؛ عزيز وشوفتك منوه
now everything is perfect (feels good..)/ ....darling i see you (minewa??)
    Welcome oh precious dear
Dear and seeing you is a blissful wish

The word hala would have the Palestinian equivalent of ahlen, welcome, now is hala2 with emphasis on the a
ترى ماجى على بالي ؛؛؛ اشوف اعيونك الحلوه
what suddenly popped into my head/ a desire to see your sweet eyes
It didnt occur to me, to see your pretty eyes

هلا يا مطول الغيبه ؛؛؛ من اقليبي أهلي به
Welcome oh one who has prolonged his absence
From the bottom of my heart I welcome him

يطير الطير بالعالي ؛؛؛ ومرد القدره إتجيبه
He flies like a bird high, it is not within my ability to catch him

رقص من شوفتك قلبي ؛؛؛ بصدفه ساقها ربي
my heart danced when i saw you/ by chance it drank from god's cup
My heart danced when it saw you
By chance it was watered by God

بلى ميعاد يا حبي ؛؛؛ تلاقى قلبك وقلبي
certainly my love/ our hearts met
Without an appointment my love, my heart and yours met

bala is bidoon in Palestinian, and mi3ad would be maw3id

ومن شفتك تناظرني ؛؛؛ تغير كل ما فيني
when i layed my eyes on you/ you changed everything inside me
When I saw you looking at me, everything in me changed
لا عاد اكثر تحيرني ؛؛؛ ترى ما فيني يكفيني
no more will you embarrass me/ what is in me will suffice me
Dont confuse me more, what is in me is enough

صغير وخله يدلل ؛؛؛ احبه ولازم أتحمل
Young and let him be spoilt, I love him so I must be patient
يقول أنه يخاصمني ؛؛؛ وينوي القول ولا يفعل
He says he's ignoring me (after a fight), he talks but does not act

y5asim is when you stop talking to your friends after an argument

ولا يخفى عليك خافي ؛؛؛ احبك يا ذهب صافي
and i won't fear you/ i love you, golden pure
Nothing can be hidden from you, I love you, pure gold

she's attributing him as fine as pure gold

ولو تأمر على روحي ؛؛؛ ترى بحقك ما هو كافي
and don't tell me/ "in truth you are not enough"
If you ask for my soul, it is not enough (for you)

    شكرا الجزيلا!
those small corrections made everything much clearer, thank you! i have a few more questions though,
    - in the chorus what does minewa mean? (3ziz ashufak minewa) i never knew this word. is it the same root of the word that appears later (wayinawi elqul wala yifa3el)?
    - what does tara mean (tara maja 3la bali), is it something like "certainly", to strengthen the significane of what comes after it ("certainly it didn't occur to me)?

    thanks again

No worries, glad I could help

    3aziz o shouftak minwa -

I'm not 100% sure about this word, but it could either mean wanted/desired, (like from a wish, omniya) or coming from mana, i.e when you grace someone with something that didnt help did it? sorry!

The other one comes from niyah - intention, yanwi - to intend

Tara ma ija 3a bali -

Tara means look, when you tell someone shouf la hon in Palestinian

ma ija - it didnt come

I'll ask Gole Yas to double check which word manwa is meant to be, because I dont know to be honest

    hehe .. hi sweetz =P ..
    9a7 eli ilteeh ..
minwa is derived from "omnia" meaning a wish ..
the song goes like "hala bil6ayeb el'3ali" as in, he's greeting someone who he just saw, then it says "3azeez o shofitik minwa" meaning, "your dear/precious and seeing you is a blisful wish"
so, he's glad in meeting the person =D
haha i hope i make sense im half asleep =P
