Well, in both my stays I was based in Cairo; and in my first visit I went to Alex and Luxor, and in the second to Alex and Dahab (in the Sinai peninsula). So I still have many places to see too... I've been wanting to go to Siwa for some time now, and I'd love to visit Aswan, Abu Simbel and some places on the seashore.

COOL! sounds like you have a plan already I need to visit Luxor and Aswan as well.... I am actually really looking forward to that visit. In addition, Hurghada and Sharm

Yes, German is so much harsher than our romance languages that's what made me curious about learning it (a loooooooong time ago!). However, I've seen you're language gifted, so I reckon you could pick it up

But Spanish and Italian are such lovely languages! French isnt bad either

First I was born in Lima, Peru to Peruvian parents. But I left Peru when I was 7, and have lived in the US ever since.

My dad lives in Italy and I have a big italian family from my dad's side.

I came across Egyptians about 5 years ago... and fell in love with the Arabic culture. When I traveled to Egypt I was completely captivated by them, so much that I have become a wana-be-masri

So I am American with tons of Peruvian in me and constantly adding some Egyptian as well

I have my bar exams next week, insh'Allah.... so please I ask everyone to keep me in their prayers.
I have never studied this way before...not even when I was in law school....

I will be away monday-thursday taking my bar exams, but I am sure I will be back sometime next weekend, insh'Allah.
