I think he's the cutest thing on earth and his songs (to me) make so much sense,

I think Adam Young (owl city) is my favorite music artist of all time,
I don't think, I know.

Apart from owls, his favourite animal is a Blue Whale,
He doesn't like snakes or spiders and I agree and stand by him with that 100% xD

Matthew Thiessen provides most of the vocals/backing vocals for Adam's songs, including Tidal Wave and Fireflies..
He has three albums, Of June (2007), Maybe I'm Dreaming (2008) and Ocean Eyes (2009).
One of his most famous songs happen to be, Fireflies, may be the 24th most downloaded song on iTunes of all time annnnnd I ing it everyday.
some of his old projects include::: sky sailing, port blue, seagull orchestra, windsor airlift, insect airport.
he lives in- owatonna, minestota, born and raised baby!
he wrote the theme tune titaled Take to the sky for a new film called legend of the guardians.
he did vocals for a club song by chicane called middledistance runner.
he is releasing a new album soon and I hope I get it I'm so exited

I love Owl City . I know this sounds like a girlish thing to say, but his lyrics are, like you said, "cute" and pretty imaginative. He's so full of life and always knows what to say in his lyrics, which can inspire you a lot, plus I give him much credit for being very flexible on what he writes since his kind of music should greatly be about love but he so does not chain himself to that .. he talks about sunburns, going to dentists, wigs, admiring cities , etc

Kudos to Adam for being great and I'm so glad I've been listening to him since his 1st EP

Wow- since well- since his first songs, then when Fireflies hit I bought his album Ocean Eyes and memorized every song from him haha.

My fave song is "The Saltwater Room" (the "Maybe I'm Dreaming" version, not the "Ocean Eyes" one).. "If My Heart Was A House", "Hello Seattle" (original version too), "Designer Skyline" and "Umbrella Beach" would probably fill the rest of my Top 5

Sky Sailing is awesome (I think I like it even more than Owl City, lol) . You should check Swimming With Dolphins too . Also, Port Blue is cool but it's just instrumental .

Also, since we're at it, check Breanne Duren's album and EPs, if you can find them (she's the girl that does the back vocals in Adam's songs; e.g. "The Saltwater Room"). She's amazing .. Her songs is just her singing and playing piano, although they're magnificent, I love her voice
