50 Cent or Kanye West?

I'm sure you've all heard about the recent rivalary between the two. The last I've checked, Kanye West's album was the 2nd best sold on Itunes while 50's was in 9th. However, 50 is taking in the 2nd most amount of cash this year (Jay-z was first) while Kanye is number 8, according to Forbes magazines.
50 has publicily stated he will stop making solo records if Kanye's upcomming album sells more then his newest album, as their release date is the same.
Thoughts?

And btw; why those two come together in studio and record together then?? Because they can't stand each other? Lol.


I personally dislike both of them, and so far the very first one, I have liked from 50c songs, is his collaboration with Robin Thicke. That one was listenable for me.
Kanye? First he was bomb. Now he is making weird stuff, and the last straw for me was his Daft Punk 'disaster'...

really? I really like that song lol. I can respect them both as artists but I don't know that much how the Hip Hop world to really have a vaild opinion. I was just wondering what other people thought...
I kind of hope 50 Cent wins though, just because Kanye's ego is already through the roof

Haha, let's say, they both are...mhhh...quite personalities.

50 was on my country for a concert, oh, boy, he demanded more then half a kingdom here... And next to me, in my neighbor country he said so arrogant things to them, that this country's journalists gave very bad names to him, and he did not get any credits there.

But he gave a quite OK concert in my country. And he knows, how to make people jump thru whole concert. When people got tired at one point, he just had to remove his shirt, and boom! crowd was crazy again

Oh, btw, with me saying not liking them: it is only my very personal view, I didn't want any way to somehow dis your opinion about them!

That is the greatest thing, that people love different styles, that is what makes music industry 'spit out' so many new albums and promos every single day, and the luckiest shall survive and succeed. Diversity ftw!

meh i wouldn't call the daft punk collaboration a disaster but he ruined dafts punk hook and draw in that song because of his lame stuttering thing he does. The song's alright but it can get played out easily. I'd much rather hear daft punk's original version rather then "tha tha tha-dont make me stronger blah....-

And in regards to 50 and kanye. I dont like both i find them both untalented and full of themselves. If you listen hard it wouldn't be so difficult for a friend of yours to come up with rhymes similar to theirs coming from a poet. But i'd have to say Kanye before he got weird. When he had that wire keepin his mouth shut was probably his climax.. for me it was, that was probably his best song 2 "through the wire".
