Thumbs up Favorite Bands?

Ok if you had to choose between four bands who would you choose? I'm going to try to hit most genres. From Autumn to Ashes, Brand New, Panic at the Disco, or Stutterfly ( If you know who that is, your superfresh.)

GWAR!! No doubt, on the top of my list. Then comes, I'm not sure in what order, something like this:

The Meteors

Sublime

And I can't really figure out which is my favourite punk band, so I'll go for some ska-punk instead, a band which is also among me favourites.

Choking Victim/ present-day Leftöver Crack/ former and originally Crack Rock Steady 7

In the matter of fact Linkin' Park is taken from Lincoln Park ...But chester thought it would be better if they twisted it to linkin......

Actually, they changed the name because lincolnpark.com was already taken but that's beside my point, which was this:

the apostrophe denotes the shortening of a word by one letter

(eg: linking to linkin')

so, seeing as there was no letter originally at the end of "linkin" there was no need for an apostrophe.

It makes no difference what the original name of the band was, lincoln is not a longer version of linkin, just a different spelling of a band name.

Honestly... and people say I'm argumentitive.

If I had to say only four I think I'd be going with Funeral For A Friend, Mago de Oz, The Gaslight Anthem, um... heck, I can't just have four, The Matches, The Wombats, MGMT, Porcupine Tree, Red and Kisschasy
nine is close to four right?

Actually Monk, all I did was advise you on the correct spelling (I'f deliberately refrained from divulging my dislike of txt-speak), you became the argumentitive one by challenging my post.

And I don't actually "enjoy" Linkin Park anymore, only Hybrid Theory does anything for me and that's only for a few tracks... I was never a huge nu-metal fan to begin with and now they seem to believe they're U2.

I prefer my rock to have more substance and less whining.
