EMINEM or 50Cent/Dre/Ice Cube/.....Which part u on ?Or both :)
Hey everyone is invited to tell his opinion . Do u like how Eminem sings ? Or u think he's white...so he has no doings in the rap business ?
I like Em`, and in the same time I like all the other rappers also !
I think Em` is the first and last who made this progress in Rap...and any other who would try to do it after him, would be just a fake and bad copy

I think he raps ok but he cannot sing...
Rappers generally can't. and he's made a name for himself but I'm still down with the DRE

To say "he's white so he has no dealings in rap" is not a good thing to say.
All music is from black origin yet everyone has a right to play it if they have the heart and talent to play it...
Personally, I believe Eminem is a telent in the rap buisness but compared to artists such as Public Enemy, Dr. Dre, Run DMC... He's a little fish in a big pond who made madegood thanks to members of NWA.

I can't... understand... words you say... in this thread... apologies... but i can't
There are MANY black rappers who are better than Eminem (I know because I listen to rap - well, 80's hiphop and there are a lot more black rap artists than white rap artists) and a lot of those HAVE been higher than Marshal MatHers.

Mm... i'l have to go with eminem. I mean, the others are ok, but it's like people be dissin' on eminem cuz he's white and bunch of peeps believe the rapping business is only for black peeps, which it's not! Ok so he can't sing well, but he raps alright and sometimes, yeah, his lyrics are kinda "out-of-feeling" but he's ok. Gotta give some props from eminem, and it's thanks to Dr.Dre... but yeah, there are other good rappers out there too.

No, still cannot understand you. Maybe if you typed in full words and not txt speak/broken words, you'll be taken seriously.
I did under the "u don't understand anything cause u keep repeating what i said" line which is an insult because:
a) I understand plenty enough to have opinions about things I have experienced. Opinions which are different to yours and don't just include the line "it's crap".
b) I do not "keep repeating" what you said, if anything, you repeat what I have put on forums many many times and that is nowadays rap isn't following the ethos of what hip hop was born from - an art used to stand up to "the man" - and is now just a marketting ploy.

Tigress and Jester,
Play nice... Focus on the message and not the messenger.

Of course, we cannot forget Tupac ! Interresting how he became one of the most famous from being just a backup dancer
I find many fishy things in his death...there were more issues to why he was killed...that Tv or any other articles let us believe. His destiny was sad

Tupac was killed due to differences betgween record labels and "crews"... One crew took out Tupac, the other took out Biggie Smalls... That's it.

I'm not trying to argue the point but how can you say you think I'm doing (or not doing anything) when you have absolutely no idea about me whatsoever?
You don't know how I think, you don't know how I go about working things out.
It was a mixture of gang rivalry and record label rivalry that got him gunned down... EXACTLY what I said before and WITH NO lines to read between...
There's too much proof out there but then again, people will always find a conspiricy about anything and when they're wrong, they'll call someone an idiot... Welcome to the soap opera called "life".

Ha ??
Yes. You are right Jester - I don't know who you are , how you think, and how you act in your life - But i do know one thing That you make me laugh...
I don't even know from where this " fight" came from... but I think you started it ( reasons ( I DONT KNOW , maybe you dont like my nickname, or my photo, I have no idea) but you started, you continue, you finish it alone.
I have nothing against you..whatsoever ..so it's your decision...if you will cool down from now on..or attack my words without no reason.
Anyway.. I opened this thread for discussions about Em` vs. Black rappers...so let's just focuse on this, ok ?

* You said there was more to Tupac's death than the Media told us.
* I said I personally believe there wasn't.
* You told me I was wrong.
That to me seems like you have a problem with people's personal opinion and want to start an argument.
That personally makes me laugh.
Anyway, I kept this on thread ages ago saying I thought Eminem was ok at best but without Dre' he'd be nothing.
Public Enemy were the best hiphop crew around because they had a message and didn't feel the need to resort to circus music or insults to achieve their goals.
