P.S. I believe, it's in western bulgarian dialect
In fact, I wrote the lyrics in macedonian alphabeth, because the band is macedonian. Except few letters, there's no big difference between bulgarian and macedonian in this song. Generally, in the folk music there's no difference at all, because this kind of lyrics are written before the big change in the macedonian language (1945) - a new alphabeth (inspired from serbian), new gramatical rules etc.

Additional note: The term "can" (from Turkish "soul", but also "body") and it's derivative "canım" (my soul; my dear) is used as term of endearment in many people (Turkey, "Kurdistan", Iran, maybe parts of India). I don't know its origin, but I like it very much and I'm happy to see it in use here in Pirin region, too (džanum).
