"I love him" is usually translated into Spanish as: "Te amo" (literally: "I love you"). "Le amo" is incorrect, it should be "lo amo", but it is usually avoided; if it weren't a song, you'd say: "amo a Cristo/amo a Jesús).

if you say: "I Love him", you have to translate as: Le amo (2nd person, "leismo" accepted). If you translate a song, one of the rules is that you have to try to use the same person as in the original.
