Can somebody please translate this song in a format to where I can share it with our congregation? I do not know Spanish myself, but I am working on learning it through learning worship songs. If I translate it word for word the song does not make sense. Please help me.

instead of translating it word for word you should just try translating it as best as it sounds how about this:

If you have heard the spanish version then just follow the beat but with these lyrics if you use a band or if you use instrumentals then try singing it a few times till you get the words on track with the beat... good luck

sounds pretty good glory...however i wouldn't be able to sing it like that...it somehow doesn't fit that great. My version may not be as good...but it has worked well enough:

More than literal translation or how it MAY sound...I find the best way to translate praise/worship songs are to translate the message...Cristo yo Te amo is about loving the Lord because of his Love for us...so that's how it came out for me as I was playing the piano one day. i think this sound more better if u get the hang of it. I mean when you translate a song from spanish to english or english to spanish the words arent always exact but its for god so it all counts! BUT YES THIS A BEAUTIFUL SING AND ITS MY FAVORITE SONG I SING IT ALOT AT CHURCH!

This is the best translation. It doesn't sound that well if you translate it literally like the others. At least, not for singing it. We can do it better for God.

you probably have 20 responses to this, but when you translate something you have to play the original song in your mind and use words that can be broken apart. hope this helps:
