I've been meaning to get to this song - your post finally pushed me to sit down and work on it. This is my first draft, I usually tinker with it after playing through it and singing it several times. Hope it helps.

I have been working on this one throughout the week, it came together tonight. This song is amazing if you have never hear it.
This translation is a classic example of my "dynamic equivalent" versus litteral translation preference. There is no way to translate it exactly and have the song flow. This actually rhymes and flows in Spanish while maintaining the message. You'll notice I went with amor (two syllables but the a in amor is tied in with the u in tu making it fit) versus gracia (same syllables but does not fit) as the key word. Gracia would be more exact but the song would sound "gringo". Sorry, I'm rambling at 1:00 A.M.

Looking back over the thread I noticed a several folks asking for Blessed be Your name by Matt Redman. Here you go...

I wish there was a way to translate "Blessed be" without adding that syllable, but I can't make it work. You have to hurry The first two syllables of "Bendito" but the rest works pretty well! Hope it's a blessing.

I heard a song in spanish, entitled "El Canto de Mi Entrego" however I was unable to locate lyrics for it.
I googled the title in english "Song of My Surrender" and was able to get an english version of the song but I would like to sing this song in spanish.... Anyone ever here it? or does anyone have a translation?
