song help

i was in a forever 21 in mid-june, 2008, and i heard this song and i can't figure out the name or the artist. it sounded like a female singer, and she was sort of rapping, but it didn't sound like a rap song... she was more like just talking fast... there were some sound effects in the song that sounded like they were straight out of the 80s. the chorus sounded like they were saying, "all i wanna do is," then it would pause, then say something else that i couldn't understand. anyway, it was a cool song and i'd love to find it. help?
