song sounding like John Legend

I was inside Forever 21 yesterday, and heard two songs in a row twice that sounded quite a bit like John Legend, but I am almost positive it is not him. One of the songs talked about Elvis in it, and I think there was something in the lyrics about being "all shook up", but it was kind of r&b sounding. Its driving me crazy!
