Could someone please translate this song to English for me? I would greatly appreciate it. My French is so lacking that I am unable to do it on my own and BabelFish is no help at all.

Hope you like it. I tried to translate as best as i could. The only verb that i didn't know was "berçer"! I found something, but it didn't fit at all in that context. Anyway, corrections are always welcomed.

"Bercer" means rock someone like rocking a baby (when a mother takes her son with her arms and rock him before sleeping).

I just wanted to ask you about this word. Well, yes i understood. It's exactly the meaning i've also found, but i cannot find it's place in this sentence: "je te berçerai encore à la vie à la mort". Do you think that i could translate it: "I will still rock you to life, to death."? Don't you have another variant, maybe better?

I think you could. Anyway, "bercer" seems looking like "protéger" here.

So i've a different version: "I will still protect (or keep an eye on) you to life, to death."

And another one:" I will still keep close to you, to life, to death."

But I dont know if they're better!
