...back in 1987... (yeap i was a teen back then, don't rush to judge my age

) i went to a shop to buy this soundtrack... Madonna was a hit, a top, a number one already, in Greece, believe it or not.... (well she was worldwide TOP so it makes sense...)

The sales guy was somewhat more rock oriented and hated her... i was (already) a stubborn "pain in the ***"

He told me: "you are going to buy her album but i assure you that in 10 years nobody will remember her and she will be a history..."

Well, i told him (full aware of my words, although i was a teen...) "do you bet that in 10 years she will be as famous as she is today?"

He replied: "no way i bet whatever you want..."

I said: "i just want a vinyl record for free..."

He said: "deal"

I said: "yes but remember this, because i will come back to get it..."

He smiled and said: "ok done...".

Ten years after i went back there to get my free vinyl record....crap he shut down his business.... the store didn't exist anymore...
But i won the bet... He STILL owe me a free vinyl record....

So,

this song is dedicated to the "ugly" woman... You'd ask: "who is she?" Wanna take a bet? ...but payable within the next week

I can't wait 10 years more for this one
