Hello I'm not new to the forum but to this sub forum yes I never stepped into. I love the lounge parts of forums so I will stick here until someone notices my song requests! So how all you've been? I'm very happy and of course this song augments my happiness and euphoria right now :P
It's so crazy song with Armenian roots. It's Yurtseven Kardeşler band (the Yurt-seven brothers) was an amateur band based in Germany that rose to fame in mid 00's and are still present :P Have fun they are great for those who listen to this genre

MysteryUp and Evanscent, welcome to How's Your Mood?-Told Through Music thread!
MysteryUp, Since they are the Yurtseven Kardeşler band and 'Kardeşler' is Turkish for brothers; yet their song is Armenian; and they are based in Germany . . . Let me see if I can solve this mystery . . . They are either true brothers or 'Yurdish clan' brothers perhaps of southern Turkey; they were born of Turkish 'Yurd' parents who live in Germany, and they have duo-citizenship! Did I guess right from all your clues?? But where does the 'Amenian' style come from?

Dear Evanscent, The sound of the music is pretty . . . but the video and meaning is alternately beautiful and frightening. Since you posted the song here, do you mind if I ask: Does the song reflect your mood? If not--good. If it does--please also listen to the music posted by others here . . . and I hope very much that your mood will be lifted somewhat! :S![]()

[QUOTE=Frankie Jasmine;921915]amaryn, this is the best gift you have ever given me. I love this song soooooo much by Cristina Branco, that it makes me think surely I would love every song by her! I haven't been this impressed by this type of female singer (I love Rough Rider females) since I last went the opera--and that's been a while. Also, traditional opera gives me cold chills (goosebumps) when well done. But even at that, I don't care for it as much this song by Cristina Branco. I must listen to more of her! Crisp, clean, fresh, and clear is her voice, like a very fine, delicate, yet diamond-strength champagne glass of pure crystal. Thank you very much. The most beautiful female voice I've heard in quite some time . . . and believe me, Paul Orhan has offered quite a number of excellent female voices, two or three of whom I liked very much. So you have had some stiff competition in the female voice category!! Give me a little time . . . I want to make a special dedication to you for this gem!
Thanks, Frankie. I'll return to it when I have more time

Here is another voice which has always thrilled me, as she interpreted the songs of the German playwright Bertolt Brecht:
Diving into the history of French chanson some of yhe very fine female voices are served to us on a dish

o meen shayfak yalli btorgos bel 3atmeh
A surprisingly good one from Madonna (with great lyrics, too):
Back to basics. To Turkey that is.
Those who know me really well will know I just had to post it.

Kimleysen, her nerdeysen
Kimleysen, her nerdeysen
o meen shayfak yalli btorgos bel 3atmeh
