Yep, she was born in the Turkish part of Cyprus in 1975, then in the same year she emigrated to Britain with her parents. When she was 6 they came back. Later she studied in Istanbul and she's been living there ever since.

I'm not very sure about it but it seems to me that her Turkish is much softer.
