The most amazing song...
Nikita you are so right, amazing ... beginning to end, every note ....
And Paul and amaryn, the second movement of the opening instrumentals ... that's one kind of violin music that I truly love. Actually I'd love to hear all of the opening on violin :)
-
 :) the opening violin of "Durma Yağmur Durma" is even better! Sorry, I'm just a little slow today ;)
Thanks so much for posting these Nikita, even not for me :p but I can never get enough classic solo strings like the stuff in those vids. Four great ones actually, coz who can ever get tired of Nat King Cole? Not in this lifetime :)

OMP -> aka OMG !!!! I was absent for about 16 hours and look what happened  It's a mess :D
I have to multi-quote half of ATL
Now I'm in the mood for red-haired (Turkish) divas
In Turkey even disco hits are sung by opera-trained voices (Meyra solo) and covers of French songs are even more powerful than the originals (Sertab). And when a female singer is a true DIVA, she's a DIVA DIVINE (Funda)!
MEYRA (solo)
MEYRA (in duet with CEMIL DEMIRBAKAN)
SERTAB ERENER
And finally, last but not least, the Fundamental FUNDA ARAR in my Turkish song of the decade
@Frankie!!! This is THE SONG!!! My best Turkish performance ever!!!
PAUL! Tell me one thing: all these artists perform right now in? Turkey? OMG this is not what i used to know! This is what i didn't know!
Choke mersi amico mio
Eeeeeh, hmmm no say.
Ok one more .... this topic is moods right? .... so ...... I'm in one of weird Lou Bega moods, so what can I say??
... Oh well, I guess I could/should say "I'm sorry, please forgive me"???
This one is kinda funny/stupid ;) ...... pleeease note, this is more or less a "self-parody" and just Lou-bou's way of being cute in song and video ;)
:)
This one is for Safe... listen and remember... I am sure it will be something for you...
;) Exposure? :D
Sorry that I left you guys for the weekend... I did not mean to, but RL called for me

Just pay the fine and we are even...
EDIT:
OMG i left out people....this multi quote is sooooooooo confusing...can't help it....

And last but not least, a flashback to the British scene: Supertramp - The Logical Song.
But with meaningful and serious lyrics:

Ssssshhhhhhhhhhh, quiet, we must not be heard.... :D

Safe -> what will the fine be??
And did you like my song??
Jandros, who can say it like Gripin? And combined with Emre... oh... it doesn't even matter which one chosen from Gripin, they are all nice ;) classic...
or Emre Aydin

But when talking classic

SO GLAD to hear that, Safey! Nices ladies, no? :D
 You're winning my heart over and over with your comments ... (:D)
Yeah, their careers are in full swing! :D
Except, perhaps, for Meyra's who just had to do this disco bit to win the public's attention back - it's just unbelievable that such a brilliant and well-trained vocalist like her has real trouble to make a career in Turkey. Elsewhere she'd be on the top non-stop. This shows what a difficult market it is! And you still haven't heard Sebnem Ferah, Ferhat Gocer, Kargo, Koray Candemir, Maskott, REDD...
As I once mentioned here and there: if Madonna was born in Turkey she wouldn't even make it as a member of the animation team in some less popular hotels in Alanya... :D

Dear Paul
Hmmm...how formal we are :))
I wasn't aware of the fact there is a Hebrew Forum....Link me up please since I find this site a bit lacking in the friendly-to-the-user department (said with lots of love and honesty) ..........I keep writing...searching..deleting...editing....:)
Back to your suggestion
I'd be more than happy to translate anything to anyone....I'm in love with literature music and WORDS
Also one of my day jobs is translating :).
PS>
My translation was better than the subs in the other clip
but I didn't want to confuse the readers by adding a more accurate one....
the main idea had been achieved by the subs.
Thank you for your comment ...I'm beginning to enjoy myself here :)
Dear Bateli,
Is this song included in ATL's Hebrew Forum yet?
If not, maybe you could also post it there?
Thanks anyways! :D
PS>
There are also French and English lyrics that have been written to this song.
See?

.......................will you find it or do I have to start editing deleting and all that ?
Again ..they say it's too shorttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

This is one of those singers who stuck to her own rep whenever it was possible. Own print. Adorable: Baby Can I Hold You Tonight Thoughtful moment: never give up believing in yourself & change is always possible:)

You seriously don't see it when logging in??? Then how do you log, kerido? :D
Your translation was great, I never bothered to read the subs :)
I'll look for Milim's "original" English lyrics but in the meantime I have some better task for you!
Are you familiar with Israeli pop/pop-rock music of the period 1988 - 1992/3???
I'm looking for two artists 'cause I'd like to hear their voices and songs once again.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thank you for your comment ...I'm beginning to enjoy myself here :)
And that's what it's all about! This forum can be a wonderful fun! Nice to have you among us!

As I once mentioned here and there: if Madonna was born in Turkey she wouldn't even make it as a member of the animation team in some less popular hotels in Alanya... :D
Paul I'll second that notion ;) and I think she's just another example of how some people can "rise to the top" on (essentially) nothing but a brash attitude, or looks, or whatever, without a foundation of any other kind. A couple of her songs would've made it big on the charts without the "attitude" (etc), but in any other time or place, she could've easily been just another "one-hit wonder".
Nikita ... Frank Sinatra!! To this day I'm still amazed that an old crooner like him was so perennially successful in the "pop" world. And he's one who could plant a song in my head that just refused to stop nagging me  for hours or sometimes even days at a time :p
Otherwise I'm still catching up on whatever I missed in the last 24 hours ..... and apologies for the out-of-sequence/untimely interruption?

Sorry Safe if I lost you on this one :p
Oh and this one....

Honestly I don't listen to it much... some man ruined it for me... I took revenge and ruined Sen Gidiyorsun for him ;)
Jandros... who can be more amazing than Sinatra... except maybe if we go this way...
