    @Koukla: Isn't it bed-time for you young-lady?.

It's not possible to name only one, the top 3 for me are:

    Cairo
    Istanbul
    Jerusalem

But, i have to add that there are many countries that i have not yet visited, so the list will grow.

@edit: Orwa, you edited 1 city for 3...thanks!

Istanbul is truly a magnificent place; one of the world's greatest & most historic cities in the world.

For me, it is not only the physical beauty that fascinates me, but also the culture, history, people and so on.

I have been to Israel many times, there is always conflict there, but it is safer than you think & always full of tourists.

Istanbulgl, but for me, the city which i feel it very close to my heart is my best city, i don't looking for the history, because the history usualy not maked by the main people of the city, it's maked by another people.

maybe all will desagree me but that what i think.

@Koukla: i edited the age reference from my previous post to avoid any misunderstanding, not only with you, but with others.....i hope you understood what i meant!

Istanbul, Cairo and many other big cities are chaotic indeed and the traffic is beyond my understanding; i congratulate Istanbulites and others for coping with such madness on a daily basis....no wonder you people are so patient!!

Come on, it is somehow true although not applicable here or to me and I can digest bigger jokes than that and it was good

And M...believe me no Istanbulite copes with it....I am telling you that city is crazy with the ones in it

I know, but i did not want to be misunderstood.

What are you still doing up...here it is 10:30 p.m., so in Turkey it should be 5:30 a.m. or are you abroad?.

I agree one has to be a little "loco/loca" to live permanently in that city!!

oh oh, we use it to mean something like a lil crazy! I have changed it now.

Do you have Neo-Citron there?. It is a hot lemon drink containing nasal decongestant, analgesic & antihistamine ingredients...it works like magic on me. Feel better soon and try to get some sleep...i'm off to bed now, good night K.

I love Istanbul as well very much, but mostly because of my interested in the oriental world.

I have visited Paris several times and I find that this is a very beautiful city! >It´s so multi-cultural.

Cairo was also very nice, but I saw so many poor people... they almost broke my heart.

So if I had to do a ranking:

    PAris
    Istanbul
    Munich
    Cairo
    London
