Pineapple was from Christopher Columbus, lol... You know he landed in the Caribbean, right? Well, he saw the pineapples growing and thought they were pine trees... So since they used to refer to all fruits as "apples", he deemed them the "apples of pine trees", or "pineapples"Looool and I learnt that in France, where they call it ananas xD
