I only dropped in "for a minute" because I don't much time and my eyes are killing me (from a heavy load of computer tasking at work right now) but 20 minutes later I'm still enraptured by all of your posts bateli ....

And about this "dreaded fear of orthodoxy" of course you should know that God has always "used" his most beloved ones in ways that were not so "orthodox" at all (by human definitions). I voiced a slight concern due to my new attraction to religion oriented music.
I now know it has to do with the musical qualities of the music itself rather than
the religious content.
I read way too many books...asked too many questions ....learned too much to BELIEVE there is a God (the way religion describe him/her/it).

When I have questions ...I look for answers the way I was taught to search,
using the tools I've been instructed to use.
My senses...my common sense...my experience....my reason....my mind.
I'm leaving the imagination out of the equation.
There is no heaven filled with blossoming flowers or hell surrounded by blazing flames.
We have this life to live and I think we better stick to make it meaningful instead of fearing the wrath of a story's main character.

Divinity is in our actions, our choices. It's as simple as that.
