Wouldn't such show though create the opposite effect?. I haven't seen it, but it occurred to me that perhaps the idea came about to create harmony rather than tension, but maybe i'm wrong in thinking that?. I don't live in the area so perhaps i should not comment.

No it didn't bring any harmony. And during that period, I hated people complaining me about Greeks (survivor Greeks, just bec. I am married to a Greek) Most sensible people thought it was silly to create it but I know it had some many lovers in Turkey and Greece. You know it was just perfect for rating.

Yeah ......... money ..... sometimes I really hate ratings. Sometimes an exceptionally good show or movie (or anything) doesn't make enough money, and then it's gone, it's history. But if it makes money, even the worst kind of junk will survive and even thrive.

In my humble opinion, the best producers and entertainers (and comics like Tim Allen for example) can be great without being divisive or mean. That's real talent!

"Moonlighting" once was one of my favourite shows!

And I also truly loved "Murder she wrote" with Jessica Fletcher and "Cobra" with Scandal and Danny!

Oh, the sentiment...
