Back to the more traditional, this is one of their pretty love songs. Could someone please explain their use of 'sticken' to me in the last verse? I guess 'embroider with me' is poetic. Or is there a better English translation?

Hi Cosmonaut. Thanks again - yes I think I get confused by 'passiert' because it can be a past tense word or present depending on use. For the benefit of other non Germans who may look at this, I have now looked up 'egal, was passiert' & see it can equate to the English expression 'come hell or high water' which literally means 'no matter what happens' as you indicate
And thank you for your encouragement - luckily they do have loads more material, but this week I'm going on holiday, so this will be my last attempt for the next few days
