-> flanieren is a very elegant form of walking and a word not used very often these days

City, you strike everybody in the heart
I will never let you alone

or something like that It slightly depends on the context, if they speak about a city there, this should be ok, if they don't, it's probably a mistake

Flanier or Flanieren- would they be the equivilant of the words stroll/strolling?
Yes it is a city that is referred to.

Yes about "flanieren" ... you're right, another direct translation the dictionary gives is "to saunter"
