Posted for needed corrections A nice marching song I think. I don't know if it was intentional but Erica begins the Latin name for some of the heathers.

Yes Macbard "ERIKA" is a name for a woman (not used very often today) and for a heather flower.

HEre one correction:
In mein'm Kämmerlein blüht auch ein Blümelein
In my little treasure flourishes also a little flower

Kämmerlein is an elder word for little room; KAMMER is the main word.
So its not a treasure box, the singer talks about a little room.

ICh kannte das Lied nicht und habe es mir erst jetzt über youtube angeschaut und angehört.
