There must be a mistake in the lyrics, it should be "an dir fest", the other thing makes no sense

Hm, the German sentence means something like "I'm not staying without any reason", maybe this could be I won't stay just like thatin English?

"nur so" in German means something like "for free"

@ Steena - My fault - I copied it wrong from the CD booklet. Small print and my eyes are not so young anymore.

@ nahnou - "I simply won't stay for nothing" Does this seem compatible with the lyrics. Its a hard line to put the message across clearly without straying too far from the lyrics. I always worry about doing that.

yes, that seems to be a good translation to me ... it not straying too far from the lyrics and it seems to be closer to the meaning of the German sentence than the first version
