Ok Steena, Tahira and all who know the bairisch dialect, I gave it my best shot, don’t laugh and fall on the floor. Please! Just help correct my many mistakes and unknown words. I had to give it a try just once.

I think you have done it very very good!
It´s not so easy and some dialect expressions make no sense when you directly translate them into "correct" german. So in some parts I did a free translation.

As my brother once said when I asked him if he was going to go skydiving again after the first time:"My curiosity has been satisfied " Danke schön für die vielen Korrekturen. It was interesting, but in the future, I believe I will just ask for a translation as I still have so much to learn about the Hochdeutsch.

she is singing in bavarian dialect not in Hochdeutsch.
So do not worry. You have done it very good, I was surprised.
Even people from the northern part of Germany have problems in understanding everything of the dialect.

As usual I was a little ambiguous there. I knew the song was in the Bavarian dialect. What I was referring to is that I am still in the process of learning to understand Hochdeutsch better and that I should stick to that and leave the dialects alone. I believe you mentioned before that with dialects direct translation sometimes is not understandable so even if I knew the words, I don't know the sayings and colloquialisms so my time is better spent studying Hochdeutsch where I can find reference materials. I sure am longwinded aren't I. Talk to you later and thanks again for the help.
