Ummm ... not exactly
What you translated would be "lass mich so etwas für die Ewigkeit spüren", by letting out the "this for" you get the real meaning.

Time floats above all clouds – a star is still free
Where is the "Time"? Did you think it hid in "Mal"? That's translated with "once" here
