Oh ... I guess this line is missing loads of commas, lets look at it this way

Better ...?


ein Clown in viel zu großen Schuhen werd ich mehr sein.
a clown in much too large shoes, I will be more.
I assume that there's something missing in this line ... either it's "Kein Clown" or "werd ich nicht mehr sein" ... at the moment this makes no sense!

1 - Believe it or not I almost did that but then said no and made the bad situation worse Again you pull me back to the right path when I twist the lyrics around

2 - I see a few possibilities. It could go with the two preceding lines conveying awkwardness while stumbling down the wrong paths as those big shoes the clowns wear seem to be very awkward or maybe just saying in other words she was foolish and will try to do better than that and last it could mean she was trying to be something she was not, hence the shoes didn't fit. Does that make any sense or am I babbling? Haha!
