Default Δε με χαρίζω Γιώργος Μαζωνάκης

Ok! We're back! Both of us! LOL!

A lot of question marks around here, but I hope SOMEONE will enlighten me! Παρακαλώ!

και ευχαριστώ! ¨)

Δε με χαρίζω - I won't be giving myself away

Στην παγίδα όταν θέλω πιάνομαι I am caught in the trap when I want (it)
Όταν κάτι που να το αισθάνομαι When (it’s ) something that I feel ????
Από ‘δω κι από κει εγώ την καρδιά μου εγώ δε χαρίζω From here and from there I won’t be giving my heart away
Λάθος μάλλον σου ‘δωσα εντύπωση It’s likely I gave you a wrong impression???
Έχεις πέσει πάνω στην περίπτωση You have fallen on the instance
Με πολλή προσοχή With much attention
Καθετί στη ζωή μου ζυγίζω Everything in my life I weigh

Δε με χαρίζω πουθενά I won't be giving myself away anywhere
Δε με χαρίζω I won't be giving myself away
Από την ώρα που θα φύγω δε γυρίζω From the hour that I’ll go I’ll will not come back
Δε με χαρίζω πουθενά I won't be giving myself away anywhere
Και σε κανένα and to anybody
Νόμος κι αρχή απαραβίαστη για μένα Law and saintly beginning for me
Δε με χαρίζω I won't be giving myself away
Δε με χαρίζω I won't be giving myself away

Όταν θέλω μόνο θύμα γίνομαι I become a victim οnly when I want
Όταν αγαπήσω παραδίνομαι When I reconciliate, I surrender( YEAH YEAH the παρα thing !!! In front of the verb δίνω which means to give, results in to out-give which means to surrender!!! Am I right?)
Από ‘δω κι από κει δεν κοιτάζω From here and from there I don’t look
Τα μάτια μου κλείνω My eyes I close
Στην παγίδα όταν θέλω πιάνομαι I am caught in the trap when I want
Έτσι όπως το αντιλαμβάνομαι That’s how I understand it
Το γιατί και το πώς στη ζωή μου The “why” and the “how” in my life
Εγώ θα το κρίνω I will judge it

Δε με χαρίζω πουθενά
Δε με χαρίζω
Από την ώρα που θα φύγω δε γυρίζω
Δε με χαρίζω πουθενά
Και σε κανένα
Νόμος κι αρχή απαραβίαστη για μένα
Δε με χαρίζω

These are the phrases where I wasn't sure about the translation:

1. Όταν κάτι που να το αισθάνομαι When (it’s ) something that I feel ????
Όταν- when, κάτι-something, που- that, να αισθάνομαι -to feel, το- it
The only logical meaning that I could fifure out was the one I wrote.

2. Λάθος μάλλον σου ‘δωσα σου ‘δωσα εντύπωση It’s likely I gave you a wrong impression
I know there is something wrong in here!

Λάθος -mistake, μάλλον-likely, σου ‘δωσα -I gave you, εντύπωση - impression
It can't be wrong impression cause Λάθος and εντύπωση have masculine, respectively, feminine forms so they can't be related....

3. Έχεις πέσει πάνω στην περίπτωση You have fallen on the instance
What is the exact meaning of this phrase? "You have come at the right moment" OR "you have got the occasion" ?

... ...

αισθάνομαι ... to "feel", to "sense", to "appreciate" ... ALSO,

... to "be conscious of", to "be aware of" ... ... ...

That "phrase" is continuing from the one "before" ...

Basically, reverse the "order" of two ... ... ...

Yes ?!?

Hang on, "Leo 9" mou ... !!! ...

Want to also "check" on "omorfi's" thread ... this is a "rare occasion" to be happening ... ... ... she is so "Greek" in so many ways, it startles me when I realise that she is ... on her "way" to be ...

Be "back" ...

No problem, I'll go check for the songs Omorfi is looking for.

Actually, your "number 2" is the "part" I went ... YYAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY !!!

You got it EXACTLY right ... I couldn't put it better myself !!!

Your "number 3" ... is a "Greekism" ... I guess in English (the closest I can think of at present), is ...

"... Faced with one of those rare occasions ..." ... ... ...

Do you see ?!? ... ... ...

OVERALL ... EXCELLENT WORK, DYA MOU !!! ... EXCELLENT !!! ... BRAVA !!!

Look, let me have my little moment of glory, cause this seems to be the first song with only a few minor mistakes in my translation.

I feel really proud about myself! Am I entitled to that, just for a while? Nobody's looking at me right now so I could brag a little....
