Panos Kalidis - Monaksia Mou *

I was hoping if anyone here had the lyrics for Panos' "Monaksia Mou" in both greek and english translation.

I have these greek songs, and suddenly i heared his voice!! OMG A NEW STAR! I don't fall for any voice, but his cought my attention, it killed me! He sang it with all of his heart. I don't even know what "monaksia" means, & my greek phrasebook din't help either, lol. HELP! thanks in advance!!

woow, you guys are the best!! loool i've realized so many lovely songs in greek ... there was a song i used to listen to, when i was very young, it was greek and i would repeat it so many times, when i go home, i'll get that cassete and write it down in "greeklish" lol.... some guy, he was so famous than, the song called "moro mou esi" ...

my aunt is married to a greek, and my uncle(her brother) is married to a cypriot and when i was young i visited them couple of times (both in greece and cyprus) ... good times

we do, lol, it's strange since we dont' have greek blood in us at all, well, other than my cousins....infact, it's all of my dad's siblings who love greece/cyprus ... one of my other aunts made sure her wedding would be in greece even though she din't marry a greek, and when my younger uncle divorced he moved to greece and till this day he refuses to come back, he says there is nothing better than this paradise ....i'm not greek/cypriot, but PROUD of sharing special memories with those countries ...thanks again for everything

I'm by no means a greek expert, but i think you've made some errors here, i think this would be more accurate:

κι ας με πονάς κάθε λεπτό.
even as you hurt me every minute
Σε προτιμώ απο αγάπες
I prefer you over lovers
που μου κάνανε κακο.
that wronged me/that did me wrong/that did me harm.

This is my favourite song, i love it. When is he bringing out another album, anyone know?

Σε προτιμώ απο άλλες αγάπες
I prefer you over lovers (I perfer you over other relations, practically, but because not in all relationships there is love (not the being in love situation(έρωτας) but love(αγάπη)),thatàs why I translated it like that)
the word lovers in Greek can be also a one-night -stand or even a free relatioship(meaning you meet only to do a certain thing)

that wronged me/that did me wrong/that did me harm.
only the last version is right.
κακό ,generally, is do harm/do wrong/hurt, but if you mean wrong ==mistake then in this case nope, only the third. In cases of relationships, for me, it could also be pain

Many times, as others have mentioned in their translations, it is a matter of interpretetation (and personally of the mood with which I hear the certain songs or even the memories that bring to me).
