phyllis, would it be possible to me another favour? my improvment to learn Greek kills my this time with such important sentences like: ξέρεις πού είναι τουαλέτα;

and still I understand only few words and sentences I hear in my favourite songs. more than at the begin of learning, but not enough to translate a whole song

the complete word is άσε from αφήνω (it's a grammar thing). And in cases of grammar azim is the expert in here (I hated grammar since elementary so go figure.... )

blue_velvet don't forget the articles before the nouns(this much of grammar I do know)so it's ξέρεις που είναι η τουαλέτα;

Tzina mou..Don't worry I'm particularly into grammar myself and I grasp things quite easily even in a language that I barely know! So your information is quite helpful because it just reminded me of the function of "άσε" as an imperative if I'm not mistaken..All right then, so far so good..But what is "άσε" which means "let or leave" I think, really doing right in the middle of that sentence?? I think I need a more literal translation of the sentence to figure it out..Aziiiim hear my voice!!!!

That's right. αφήνω => Imperative, Aorist, Singular άφησε, άσε

Just a few punctuation marks are missing, Phyllis. Like that: "Κάτι τέτοιες ώρες μοναξιάς пόσο πολύ πονάς... Άσ'τα, μην τα ρωτάς".

Oh my God!! Couldn't be clearer!! Panseline mou, you can't imagine how illuminating your explanation has been! I can't believe it's as simple as that and how come I've failed to see this..Actually that's the very moment I like about learning a language, "when the clouds and the mist clear and you see a little bit of sunshine", which, more literally speaking, carries you a step further to the next level!!
