I am desperate to learn the meaning of the lyrics
of Theodorakis' song O KAIMOS. I first heard the song in
Cyprus in 1974.

Alright Dave, I first had this song going through my head for weeks back in 1964 onwards whilst I was in Cyprus. Everywhere I went, clubs, bars etc were playing it. I believe it was in the Greek hit parade for ages. Suddenly had a thought tonight to listen to it again. Thinking of adapting it to Irish bouzouki ( which I play in a band). Great song, a classic I think.
