Taxe mou
Make a vow*
Mou les tha fiyis makria apo mena
You say that you’ll go away from me
Thelis ligaki na xekourastis
You want to have a rest for a while
Ma san ke tin diki mou tin agapi
But like my love
S’ olo ton harti de tha xanavris
You’ll won’t find again in the whole map**
Mi me rotas pos tha antidraso
Don’t ask me how i’ll react
Tora pou fevgis ke tha se haso
Now that you’re going and i’ll loose you
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Ke tha mathis ti tha kano
And you’ll learn what i’m gonna do
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Tora pou ego se hano
Now that i’m loosing you
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Ke tha mathis ti tha kano
And you’ll learn what i’m gonna do
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Tora pou ego se hano
Now that i’m loosing you
Ali agapi tha vro na se xehaso
I’ll find another love in order to forget you
Tha yiortaso afton ton horismo
I’ll celebrate this separation
Tha glentiso ke tha se xeperaso
I’ll have fun and I’ll get over you
Na se vgalo ap’ to mialo
To take you out of the mind
Ali agapi tha vro na se xehaso
I’ll find another love in order to forget you
Tha yiortaso pou de me agapas
I’ll celebrate that you don’t love me
Afou thelis na vlepis kapion alo
Since you want to see somebody else
Ise eleftheri na pas
You’re free to go
Mou les tha fiyis makria apo mena
You say to me that you’ll go away from me
Yiati se kourase i shesi afti
Cause this relationship has tired you
Ma opos agapisa ego esena
But as i loved you
Na xeris de tha sou xanasimvi
You have to know that it won’t happen to you again
Mi me rotas pos tha antidraso
Don’t ask me how i’ll react
Tora pou fevgis ke tha se haso
Now that you’re going and i’ll loose you
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Ke tha mathis ti tha kano
And you’ll learn what i’m gonna do
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Tora pou ego se hano
Now that i’m loosing you
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Ke tha mathis ti tha kano
And you’ll learn what i’m gonna do
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Tora pou ego se hano
Now that i’m loosing you
Ali agapi tha vro na se xehaso
I’ll find another love in order to forget you

Afou thelis na vlepis kapion alo
Since you want to see somebody else
Ise eleftheri na pas
You’re free to go
Mi se niazi tora pos perno ke pou pao
Now don’t mind how am I and where I’m going
Mi se niazi me pia vgeno ke ti kano yiati
Don’t mind with whom I’m going out and what I’m doing cause
Itane epiloyi diki sou na fiyis
It was your choice to leave
Ki efhome na min to metaniosis oute stigmi
And I wish not to regret it nor for a single moment
Ma an to metaniosis na to xeris kardia mou
But if you regret it you have to know it my heart
Pos bori na vriskome se mian ali agkalia
That I might be in another embrace
Ki oti tha ‘ne diskolo na erthis konta mou
And that it would be difficult to come to me
Tote na to xeris pos yia mas tha ine arga
Then you have to know it, it would be too late for us
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Ke tha mathis ti tha kano
And you’ll learn what i’m gonna do
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Tora pou ego se hano
Now that i’m loosing you
Ali agapi tha vro na se xehaso
I’ll find another love in order to forget you
Tha yiortaso afton ton horismo

And you’ll learn what i’m gonna do
Taxe mou, taxe mou
Make a vow, make a vow
Tora pou ego se hano
Now that i’m loosing you
*When we have some special news, sometimes before we announce them to somebody, we say “taxe mou”. We mean make a vow and I’ll tell it to you. To give something for exchange.
**Means in the whole world.

In fact yes, but it's an expression. We say it when we have some important news to announce. So before we say them to someone we say "taxe mou" (promise that you'll give me something after). Of course we don't mean it, we don't want to receive something for exchange, but this wants to show that the news are very important. Sarbel here says "taxe mou" and then I'll say to you what i'm gonna do.
Did you understand? I don't think that I explained it well. Sorry...

no, you explained well, I see, thanks. there's an expression close to it in turkish. It's "müjdemi isterim", means "I want my good news". It's used before we give out good news. takse mou resembles this expression.

Bye ^^
