A little help: Σαββατόβραδα--Αντώνης Ρέμος

I tried to translate this song and although most part of it I think I got it right, I would still want someone to check it. Besides, I have encountered a problem at the end of it, and it realy bugs me

I hope someone from here will have the time and will want to take a look and to help me with it

πως φαίνεται καθόλου να μη μ' έχει πειράξει
That nothing seems to matter to me at all
πώς μπόρεσα και ήμουν τόσο δυνατός
How could I and was I so strong ( how was it possible for me to be that strong)

Μα είναι κάτι σαββατόβραδα που λέω
But it’s on every Saturday evening that I say
πως δε θ' αντέξω άλλο να 'μαι μακριά σου
That I won’t bear to be away from you anymore
είναι κάτι σαββατόβραδα που κλαίω
It’s every Saturday night that I cry
και μες τον ύπνο μου φωνάζω τ' όνομά σου
And in my sleep I shout your name

Είναι κάτι σαββατόβραδα που φταίω
It’s every Saturday night that I blame myself
φταίω που τώρα έτσι έχω καταντήσει
I blame myself that now this is how I’ve ended up
μα για να δω τι θα πεις όταν πια δε θα βρεις
But I (want) to see what you’ll say when you won’t find anymore ( I know what μα για να δω means, I just can’t find a better english translation)
σαν και μένα άλλον να σε αγαπήσει
Another one to love you like me

Οι φίλοι με ρωτούν ακόμη αν σε θυμάμαι
Friends ask me if I still remember you
και κάνω τον τρελό και λέω ποια είναι αυτή (κάνω τον τρελό—I can’t find a better English expression to match it, but I know what it means)
And I play tough and I say “who is she?”
μα τρέμω τη στιγμή που μόνος πάλι θα 'μαι
But I fear the moment I will be alone again
πώς γίνεται να σβήσω έτσι μιά ζωή
How is it possible for me to extinguish like that a life

The last verse it’s the one I’m having problems with:

Is it: to estinguish like this OR a life like this? έτσι is related to the verb or to the noun?

πώς μπόρεσα και ήμουν τόσο δυνατός
How could I and was I so strong ( how was it possible for me to be that strong) beter the text inside the parentheses...

Μα είναι κάτι σαββατόβραδα που λέω
But it’s on every Saturday evening that I say (But there are SOME saturdays nights that i say)
πως δε θ' αντέξω άλλο να 'μαι μακριά σου
That I won’t bear to be away from you anymore

και μες τον ύπνο μου φωνάζω τ' όνομά σου

It’s every Saturday night that I blame myself (SOME saturdays nights that i'm faulted)
φταίω που τώρα έτσι έχω καταντήσει
I blame myself that now this is how I’ve ended up (I'm faulted for the way i've ended up (or became))
μα για να δω τι θα πεις όταν πια δε θα βρεις
But I (want) to see what you’ll say when you won’t find anymore ( I know what μα για να δω means, I just can’t find a better english translation) It's OK!!!!! except for anyone instead of anymore
σαν και μένα άλλον να σε αγαπήσει
Another one to love you like me (Anyone instead of another one)

και κάνω τον τρελό και λέω ποια είναι αυτή (κάνω τον τρελό—I can’t find a better English expression to match it, but I know what it means)
And I play tough and I say “who is she?” (it means "I'm acting as a crazy")
μα τρέμω τη στιγμή που μόνος πάλι θα 'μαι
But I fear the moment I will be alone again
πώς γίνεται να σβήσω έτσι μιά ζωή
How is it possible for me to extinguish like that a life

Yet again I haven't been here for "ages"... strange to think about that it's only 1 year ago I was living all day here in the forum, haha. Life goes on and "ta panta rei"

You kow, that's exactly what I was thinking last night while translating the song: one year ago, I used to have two or three windows opened at the same time because we were speaking on different threads till we were settling in one place.

I go at those places once in a while and smile Ta panta rei, indeed...

Hehe, and sometimes those old threads show up on the first page... That's funny! I can't even remember every thread in here... Haha yes I remember... Writing in many threads at the same time, while translating and finding lyrics at the same time...

Plus browsing through dictionaries, verb tables, etc trying to get the meaning of a word in a song while also trying to find another word to use in an answer here! LOL!
