TA KORMIA KAI TA MAXAIRIA
Τα κορμιά και τα μαχαίρια
άντε κάποτε αλλάζουν χέρια,
τα σημάδια τους αφήνουν
που πονανε και δε σβήνουν.

Aγγιξέ με, φίλα με, μύρισέ με
κρύψου μέσα μου, κατοίκησε με,
σαν παλιό κρασάκι φύλαξέ με
ένα κορμί δεν είναι μόνο αγκαλιά,
αχ! ένα κορμί δεν είναι μόνο αγκαλιά
είναι μια πατρίδα που θα γίνει ξενιτιά.

Τα πουλιά και τα τριζόνια
άντε τραγουδάνε τόσα χρόνια
κι από την ανατριχίλα
κοκκινίζουνε τα μήλα.

Τα κορμιά και τα μαχαίρια
άντε μη βρεθούν σε λάθος χέρια,
κάποιο φονικό θα γίνει
και ποιός παίρνει την ευθύνη.

Μέσα στης γιορτής το κέφι
άντε πιο ψηλά κρατάει το ντέφι
όποιος πόνεσε και ξέρει
γλύκα που 'χει το μαχαίρι.
