Sfakia is an area in Western Crete that has a reputation for having people that are particularly "rough around the edges"

Zvezda, thank you so much for the translation. Its very difficult to get the right meaning from the words unless you have a better understanding of the language than me! Its a song full of emotion and it when I hear it 'ανατριχιάζω' !

You are welcome! It's often hard to translate into English in a way that makes sense I have never heard of this particular song. I think my favourite Ksyloyris song is one that goes like "...hilia miria kimmata, makria to Aivali..." I do not know if you have ever heard of it
