I've been a fan of Greek music in the past 15 years
my favorite artists are
Yannis Ploutarxos
Notis Sfakianakis
Stelios Rokkos
Dalaras
Michalis Tsachinakis

I'm an English teacher from Israel and I love languages
I've been D Y I N G to understand this BEAUTIFUL MUSIC
those DIVINE voices and the text behind those ANGELIC melodies

Somehow , I can't seem to grasp the Greek language
I picked some key words here and there and although my dictionary and self teaching book .....it simply doesn't work

Yes...this is my name and the meaning of it is daughter of God....
You have no idea what this site has done to me in the past days....
I can hardly concentrate on my work and studies....
I'm such a HUGE fan of Greek music.
When Dalaras was in Israel I went to each and every show.
Too bad Ploutarxos is not coming to perform here.

This is Chanuka holiday here, and i'm driving my niece crazy with Greek music.
There is actually a translation that I need ....again Ploutarxos
the song is (according to the video) Eksaxna xronia na se vro.
Do you know it?
Do you have the translation for it?
Mr. Ploutarxos has certainly HEATED UP my winter.
