Signomi pou s'agapisa poly - Dimitra Galani

Ok, I gave it a try, hopefully someone will look over it and check it ( Cu alte cuvinte, sper sa fie si corecta.

Signomi pou s'agapisa poly - Dimitra Galani
Excuse me for having loved you so much

    Mαύρη ζωή με τσάκισε
    The black life cracked me
I found you as a harbour
    But my so much love
Did only wrong to you (numai rău ți-a făcut)

Excuse me for having loved you so much
I don't know how to love less
Excuse me for having loved you so much
    But I found the courage
    And I'll leave
Excuse me for having loved you so much

Like the water in the dessert
I will always ask for you
    One kiss you gave me
And for that I thank you

Excuse me for having loved you so much
I don't know how to love less

Thank you, Maria I translated another song, in Berrin's thread. Would you mind taking a look there as well? I don't want to mislead people with wrong translations in case I make mistakes.

    Thank you again

PS: I'll search for Galani's song. I can't find it on youtube, but I'm sure I'll find it somewhere else

Pe celelalte va trebui sa le cauti in interpretarea initiala.

Se vlepo sto potiro mou- Prima interpretare: Tzeni Vanou http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-0JeAmLqGQ

Efiges noris- prima interpretare Elefteria Arvanitaki: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avSj1...eature=related

sau le poti asculta pe amandoua aici:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luu7N...eature=related

I pio megali ora- prima interpretare Giota Lydia (nu e pe youtube)

Pira ap'to xeri sou nero- prima interpretare Viki Mosxoliou

Clasice:

Bună, well done that's a very good translation! You say that you didnt have the time to write the lyrics in Greek characters, so I did it myself for you... I hope you don't mind, it's really nothing for me. Once again, almost perfect translation, bravo.

Μη μου λες για μια ζωή
Don’t tell me for a life
    Whom I’ve never seen
Don’t tell me for a heart
    Whom I’ve never found
Don’t tell me for (the) dreams
    That I never chose
μη μου λες πως είμ’ εγώ
Don’t tell me that it’s me
the one of us two who has changed.

    Word for word
    Our life was a lie
    A bouquet made of wounds
    That are dripping blood
    Word for word
All that I foresaw came true
    και τη ζωή μου όλη
    And all my life
    Without reason I wasted.

Don’t tell me for a soul
    Whom I’ve never read (understand)
μη μου λες πως είσ’ εδώ
Don’t tell me that you are here
But for me you are unheeded (/but I didn’t count upon you)
    Don’t tell me for plans
They were quashed, we burned them
Don’t tell me about our (story) end
Ahead of time we fixed it. (/we fixed it a long time ago)

P.S. Just for the record, πώς means how and πως (without accent) means that, I thought this might be useful for you.

Gia sou! and ,,bună!" ( I appreciate that you have used a romanian word)
I don't know what to say first.
I'm very grateful for your help and for the fact that I was not ,,unheeded" I understand my (little) errors that you have mentioned. Believe me that it took me a couple of hours to do this translation; I used 4 dictionaries (greek-romanian , romanian-greek, english-romanian and romanian-english) for the vocabulary and your own quite good and comprehensive posts about greek grammar in this site (in ,,learning greek language"), especially for the sentence ,,σβήστηκαν, τα κάψαμε".
I'm very glad that I'v succeeded. I have previous posts and many requests for greek songs translations; I knew only in part the meaning of the lyrics and for this I asked for help. But now, I'v decided to do the translation by myself.
You'll not believe me, but I know to sing word for word (Λέξη προς λέξη ) entire greek songs. Why? Very simple = 'cause I like them very, very, very much; the most of all, I like those sad and heavy-hearted songs; they are quite good for the soul relief...

You must say ,, nu vorbesc asa de bine (romanian language)" instead of ,,nu vorbesc de bine"
,,nu vorbesc de bine" has a quite different meaning = when referring to a person , you consider him/her in a bad manner

Do you know how can I write words in ,,bold" or colored 'cause I'v tried with ,,Microsoft Word" (copy-paste) and it doesn't work

Finally, could you send to me, please, the lyrics (in greek and english) of the Dimitra Galani's song ,,Oses foties"?
I was looking for these several days on the internet but I didn't find anything

And finally of the finally, in 1998y, when I was living in Constantza, Romania, I was used to listen to a greek radio station (ekaton dio fm, radio Thessaloniki); since that time I know many greek songs... There was a nice (and haevy-hearted) song but I couldn't find it's name and the name of the singer.
I remember some lyrics of it: ,,ego paidi mou imai treli" (I know the meaning of this sentence) ,,vradi stin tavernas" (,,ston ouranou" was the end then again ,,ego paidi mou imai treli at the end of the end). Please don't get the laught at me!

Yeeess! I found a song that I'm looking for since long time ago!
What do you think about it?

    I love it!

    As many fires

If you want to make it to the top
    and feel like the sun
Firstly, my beautiful one, you should
also get burned like him (the sun)

    And (to) break into pieces
    and (to) create other stars
to take care of them as if they were your children
    away from your two hands

As many fires burn my heart
so many will light in my dreams
So many will light like candles - ah my Virgin Mary

Come Caucasus, come wind, take me to Odessa
where I have mother and father and I long for Paradise (not sure about the last one)
Paradise isn't the joy of forgetfulness
But all those that torture you for years and all those you care about the most

Quickly, before going to sleep: George, is this the song you're looking for?
