Im new as well! And Im very happy for this forum cause it also gives me the opportunity to learn the language in a way =)
Im studying a bit on my own but its really difficult. I used to live in Greece for three years in the mid 90´s and Im planning to move back evantually, so...the more I learn the better! Thanx again!

when one says "παίρνω κάποιον"(take somebody)
there are many possible meanings:

1. to have sex with somebody [clearly this is not the case ]
2. to marry somebody [ "θα σε πάρω με παπά και με κουμπάρο" = I will marry you with a priest and with a best man]
3. to hire somebody
4. to pick somebody up (from his house, the airport...)
5. to take somebody with you (as date, escort...)
6. to call/phone/telephone somebody [the "complete" expression is: "παίρνω τηλέφωνο κάποιον"]

in this case "παίρνω" means call

PS it took me some time because I couldn't remember all the meanings.

Yes, he will receive it, but will only read it when he gets online again.

Provided however that he/she has activated the private message service, in this forum there is an option whether to use it or not.

Regarding your question, as far as I know, there is no way to change a member's username under vBulletin forum software. In all VB forums I have participated, the admins always said that it is possible theorytically, but would creat a series of problems related to the database. I'm sorry for the bad news.

I have good news for you , I hope
What do I mean? I had another username before; it was ,,geomac91"; I sent a pm to an administrator whose username was ,,dm"; so after 1-2 days my user name became only ,,geomac" .
It was even a same situation for the member called ,,Orwa" , whose first username was ,,orwa" (with ,,o" instead of ,,O") - from this I've learned the lesson
