Hi, can someone help me with the english translation of this song from Malamas?

Τα βράδια είναι ατέλειωτοι αιώνες μαζεμένοι
μέσα στον ύπνο το βαθύ πολυταξιδεμένοι
άλλοι γυρνάνε με το νου και άλλοι στα εμπόδια

αγάπες σε κυκλώνουνε και στο μαντρί σε χώνουνε

Κι εγώ που θέλησα πολλά έμεινα με τα λίγα
μα γρήγορα συνήθισα τα νιάτα μου τ' ατίθασα
έπλασα κόσμο μυστικό και μπήκα σε λημέρι
ξέχασα τις αγάπες μου που μου 'στησαν καρτέρi

Others sail high and have the wings at their feet.

But quickly I got used to my rebel youth

I coined a secret world and I entered in a hideout
ξέχασα τις αγάπες μου που μου 'στησαν καρτέρι
I forgot my loves that laid me a trap.

Means neither to panic nor to be catched by the same God

Otherwise, you stick to the fixed debts,you crawl,you vituperate and you suffer
αγάπες σε κυκλώνουνε και στο μαντρί σε χώνουνε
Loves encircle you and stick you into the pound.

Thank you very much! I was wondering about a line or two and your translation helped me to correct a mistake I had made. I hadn't realize it was "I used to my rebel youths so I thought it was "I quickly got used to having little and in my rebel youth I built myself a secret world".
My only question is are you sure that "ta pagia" means "debts"? I wasn't able to find it with that meaning in any dictionary.

I was just gonna say....maybe instead of 'fixed debt', πάγιο should be translated as 'fixed cost'....
