This summer will be magical
we will leave that something different
We will party all night long
and everything will seem like a dream
This summer will be magical
we will leave that something different
In after parties beside the shore
I will get you drunk with shots and kisses
This summer...
From the old times, From the old times
I wanted so much to get close to you
but I was looking for a way for us to come closer
In one look, In one look
we said so much that I took the courage
to sing to you something sweet
This summer will be magical
Tha zisoume to kati diaforetiko
Ti nyxta mera tha tin kanoume emeis
Kai oneiro tha moiazoun ola tha to deis
This summer will be magical
we will leave that something different
In after parties beside the shore
I will get you drunk with shots and kisses
I feel so much, I feel so much
but I get stuck to the impression you have
stoto how you look at me and no word comes out of my mouth
and suddenly, and suddenly
you come near me holding in your hand
a drink and a cigarette asking for a light
This summer...
Dj Pantelis does remixes so most probably this is an older song, but i can't remember

-Despoina Vandi-Live (Its a collection of some of the most known songs of Vandi performed live )
-Despoina Vandi- Special edition (The song "Jambi" is a very good one)
-Anna Vissi - Nylon
-Elena Paparizou -Proteraiotita & Proteraiotita Euro Edition & My number one
-Eleftheria Arvanitaki -Live & The very best of 1989-1998 & Tragoudia gia tous mines
Se mi dici qualcosa di piu' sul genere di musica che ti piace, ti potrei' dare piu informazioni. Per l'ultima cantante cerca un' po' qualche sue canzone perche' e' probabile che non ti piace.
Ciao

Tzina your Italian is really good!!Where are you from in Greece? I love your country! Anyway usually I listen to rock music and sometimes metal, but also electronic.. But I'm not looking for Greek metal band..I like those Greek songs the sounds modern and "oriental" at the same time, I couldn't describe it better, you know , it's the difficult to describe music with words! I love Greek music also because it remembers me of a Greek boy I still think about.. Anyway if you need any suggestions for Italian music or translation I'm here! Ciao ciao

From modern Greek artists, SFAKIANAKIS is the #1, period.

Bouzouki player I couldn't agree with you more, but Sfakianakis for a foreigner would be quite heavy. Not only but I tried to suggest music of the kind of Kaiti Garbi for example (and I hope you would never intend that Sfakianakis has the same sound of Garbi)
lux if you want a more orientalish sound some Greek artists would be Makis Christodoulopoulos- Oi protes ekteleseis (you will find it only using Greek so do copy paste of the following in any search machine Μάκης Χριστοδουλόπουλος ). From the same you will also find the album-20 chronia Makis Christodoulopoulos
Antzela Dimitriou, there is a compilation with some of her best songs called Antzela Dimitriou- Megales epitixies
Both of them though are a little bit heavy. If you knew a Greek then most probably you have already heard both of them, even if you didn't know
Let me know if you just want titles of songs and not entire albums (the single songs you can download them also from the internet)

I am not sure what do you mean with "heavy". Most songs of Garbi etc. are skyladiko style, opposing to most songs of Sfakianakis. If you mean that zeibekika are not clearly "understandable" by foreigners I agree and I see why you suggested these singers.
I just said who is the No.1 of Greece .

Exactly Bouzouki style, keep in mind that some words in Greek don't exist in most foreign languages (there was a time that I was looking for the word καημός well in English at least doesn't exist exactly as we mean it).
The reason why I suggested these singers is that this was ,up and down, the style himself/herself said that he/she knew. So for starters I suggested something like that. You are right about Garbi, but to me Makis is skiladiko not Garbi. As for Sfakianakis like we would say "he's all the money" ))) . I've heard him live ,normally artists have a difference between the cd's and the lives, well not him!!

Depends on what you want to see Seniorita. If you tell me what you like I can propose places. But if you want to come in summer, then choose an island. The song of Paparizou with that name I don't know it. But if you want any translation then just ask

Hey!
Hi,all! I'm from Bulgaria. I'd like to meet new friends abroad and talk about interesting topics. I like Greek music very much and 'Afto to kalokairi' is a very cool and fast-rythm sounding song. I'm thinking of going to Greece this summer and have a great time somewhere near the sea beneath Athens. Write, please no matter where you are from and if you like or dislike Greece and her culture. I'll reply to all of us, I promise )
